De eerste pagina in de biografie van de Black Crows ski's toont de Corvus ski's. Voor dit innovatieve en gepassioneerde skimerk was dit dan ook de eerste ski die echt de sneeuw aanraakte.
De Corvus freeride ski's zijn verfijnd en zijn vandaag de dag iets breder in de taille dan de eerste edities uit 2007.
Deze Big Mountain ski's hebben een taillebreedte van 109 mm, een sterke en goed uitgebalanceerde flex van de kern van populierenhout en de semi-cap constructie met zijwanden onder de voet die goede zweef- en krachtoverdrachteigenschappen bieden.
Als je een diepe sneeuw jager bent, dan zal de progressieve tip rocker en de lichte tail rocker je aan het lachen maken wanneer je op je eigen weg lang de achterkant van de berg surft.
Deze freeride ski's zijn geschikt voor 90% off piste en 10% op de piste.

Haven't had a chance to ski these yet, so the review is impressions of (1) the shopping experience and (2) a close inspection of the skis. SkatePro was a great merchant -- I was nervous about shopping overseas online (I'm in the US), but the transaction was smooth, shipping was as fast as if I had ordered domestically, shipping was included in the purchase price, and with the price below the import duty minimum I paid no taxes. The Corvus looks like an awesome ski. I'm most recently skiing on two pairs of DPS skis -- the Wailer 112 and the Lotus 120 -- and the Corvus is a heavier and more traditionally cambered ski than either of those. The wide part of the shovel is also further toward the tip than either DPS, making this a more traditional side-cut. I anticipate these will bust crud better and hold a stronger edge in firm snow. But that's an expectation, not an experience. Would definitely shop SkatePro again. | ||
